So when we were getting ready for our wedding, the night before I told my soon to be husband that I was NOT going to wear shoes with my dress. Why? Well because for one I was already mad that I had to wear a dress and have my hair and nails done because by all means I am NOT a girly girl and number two i wanted to just go to the courthouse and gave in on having a wedding at the church!
A lot of my really close friends were not able to make it so to prove to them that I was going to get my way and NOT wear dress shoes I snapped a picture with my cell phone right before the ceremony and sent it out! The replies I got were "You really are going to do it barefoot?!?!?" and I replied with "Well yeah I can run faster with out shoes DUH!"
It really was a good day and I really don't care what others thought about me going bare foot because it was my wedding and I was already uncomfortable the way it was! My dress was heavy and the church FORGOT to turn the air conditioner on in the sanctuary so I was sweating something horrible!
